The International Society for Intellectual History invites submissions for the 2026 Constance Blackwell Prize.
The ISIH Constance Blackwell Prize is awarded biennially to the best first monograph in intellectual history, broadly construed, published in the previous two years. The prize was established in memory of the Society’s founder, Constance Blackwell (1934–2018).

- self-nominations are permitted.
Submissions should be sent to the Chair of the Prize Committee, Dr Richard Oosterhoff, at richard.oosterhoff[at]ed.ac.uk.
The deadline for submissions is 31 August 2026.
The shortlist will be announced by September 2026. The winner of the prize will be publicised by the ISIH by the end of December 2026.
